I do not recommend you stop taking your prescribed medications; however meditation can have a wealth of benefits for both physical & mental wellbeing.
What are the benefits of meditation?

🌻Gaining a new perspective
🌻Increasing self-awareness
🌻Focusing on the present
🌻Reducing negative emotions
🌻Increasing imagination & creativity
🌻Increasing patience, tolerance & empathy
You might find the idea of sitting still and doing ‘nothing’ a bit daunting, but traditional seated meditation is just one way to do it. There are many ways to meditate and it’s about finding the one that best suits you!
So what are the types of meditation?
🌻 Mindfulness Meditation – Mindfulness meditation is something you can do almost anywhere. Bring your awareness to the physical sensations of the breath and the body. You could also bring focus to any sounds or smells around you.
🌻 Mantra Meditation
Focus your attention on a mantra (a word, phrase, or syllable) which can be repeated throughout the meditation.
🌻 Moving Meditation
Keep your awareness on the breath and the physical sensations in the present moment. This can be done while practicing yoga, dance, tai chi, running or swimming.
🌻 Visualisation
In a visualization meditation, you picture something or someone in your mind.
🌻 Trataka Meditation
Candle gazing, is a type of meditation in which you keep your eyes open and focused on a point or object—frequently, the flame of a lit candle or an object such as a crystal.
